DeSantis Shades Trump’s Obsession With 2020: ‘We Must Reject the Culture of Losing’

“Governing is not about entertaining,” he said. “Governing is not about building a brand or talking on social media or virtue signaling. It’s ultimately about winning and producing results.”

“See, for instance, my totally-about-governing-results-oriented fight with Mickey Mouse and my book-banning initiatives.”

He did, however, provide an exclusive interview to the newly launched D.C.-based media startup The Messenger, which was released Monday morning. On DeSantis, he kept it simple: “He’s got no personality,” he said. “And I don’t think he’s got a lot of political skill.”

“but I endorsed him (and Rubio).”

Both DeSantis and Trump are possessed of instincts that are arrogant, self-righteous, nasty, divisive, and f__ked up, each with their own unique, awful brand.

So DeSantis plan to get Trump’s base to abandon Trump in his favor is to call Trump “a loser”.

We will see if it works.

If I were a repub and I’m glad I’m not I’d be in total despair of having to choose between Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum(b). Neither would it comfort me to know that Sununu of NH is talking about running and top of his platform is abortion up to 24 weeks. Whoopie.

DeSantis:‘If you endorse me, I’ll win,’ and there were tears coming down from his eyes.”

Actually DeSantis said ‘Sir, if you endorse me, I’ll win,’ and there were tears coming down from his eyes.”

If we get distracted, if we focus the election on the past or on other side issues,

By which I don’t mean trying to scare you with CRT theory or banning drag queens. Issues that have been at the forefront of citizens’ worries for decades.

And what I love about ‘this’ conversation is that I don’t even wonder or CARE who the asshole is in @john_adams little comment.

Thanks.

because it worked so well for the democrats

Saturday’s speech built upon jabs the two have been throwing at each other for some time now as DeSantis gears up for an announcement.

I’m rooting for maximum damage inflicted on both sides.

“We must reject the culture of losing "

What in the fuck does that even mean?

Fact: Republicans lost in the last three elections.

Made up terminology: “A Culture of Losing.”

Is DeSantis running on a platform of “A Culture of Winning”? Does that mean that Republicans must stop losing races at all costs, using whatever means to it takes to ensure winning? That would appear to be a promise to suppress free speech and the right to vote, judging by all the “winning” he is doing to people, schools, and corporations Florida.

The man will not even acknowledge in plain language that Trump lost the 2020 presidential election. He just says “Biden became president,” as if that is something that unaccountably happenned.
