Heck he’ll be removing the losing parts from Floridas history curriculum. Nothing about the excess COVID deaths under his regime. Nor his hiring of quack doctors who opposed vaccines etc.

What DeSantis doesn’t understand, is that many MAGATs aren’t traditional Republicans who care about the party winning. They’re cultists who only care about supporting their leader, and they don’t care if he loses!
They don’t care. They’re in it for the emotional satisfaction of pulling the lever for Trump, and it doesn’t matter what his actual chances are. This sideways attack might win over the Old School R’s who just want Trump to go away and not continue to lose elections, but it’s not going to make a dent in Trump’s MAGA support.
