So they “warned” the students who reported being assaulted about their violation of school rules, but they didn’t check on any other students at the parties, much less the alleged assaulters? Yep, sounds legit.
Wouldn’t want to ruin the lives of any of those upstanding young men

The victims probably were drinking and wearing provocative clothing (anything that didn’t cover from ankles to neck to wrists) so it obviously was their fault.

Well Judah impregnated his own daughter in law, but it was OK because she wore a veil, allowing him to believe he was just nailing a prostitute by the side of the road. And nailing the prostitute was felt to be just fine. And we aren’t;t even out of the book of Genesis yet.

I can picture one of the better Christian folks there having a come to Jesus moment and dropping a dime on them. After all there is funding involved though I think when Falwell Sr. created the university he refused to allow any type of federal funding including student loans.

I’m pretty sure I saw an article (possibly a Morning Memo articlet?) that mentioned an atheist was suing to have the Bible removed from school subjects under the new FL law.

I think by simply being at parties with male and female students they were violating the school code. Any alcohol and double violation. So it’s “We’ll investigate your report only if you first cop to an offense that lets us kick you out and keep your money and transcript.”
