They have to formally print it, so he has the final version to sign,.
Elections have consequences.
Strange Brew…Maine what’s inside of you?
(Sen. Dan Sullivan of Alaska left to attend a funeral).
Has the GOP finally died?
The Dems own this and all the positive economic, social, and infrastructure benefits. It defines them to restaurants that have been crushed by the pandemic; to small businesses that will get back on their feet quicker; to people who are tired as hell from a year at home with their kids; and many others. The Democratic Party has defined itself with this Bill. On to Uncle Joe for signature. Yea!

ETA: They just updated the page…about halfway down is a small, one line link saying the bill was passed.

Yeah?
Fuck 'em.
Yeah, great going with the exception of a BIG FU to MTG.
The only thing that is missing is a mention of Dr. Seuss.
Maybe that’s what the Rep. Senators are meeting about…
Wow. Good thing the Revolution is over. They clearly would have fought for the British.

What is the GOP angry about today?

Dr. Seuss got $42 billion in the bill. Seriously. Tucker Carlson has the details.
“Outnumbered?”
Hmm. They aren’t wrong.
Strangeness evaporates once you do the racial calculation. WWC have been told that government handouts are for different-looking people.
Aside from the Delaware votes–explicable by reference to the well-established boneheadedness of Coons and Carper–the senate vote on the minimum wage is very easily understood as a white supremacist vote. Shaheen, King, Tester, Sinema, Manchin, Hassan all come from states where there are very few African-Americans.

He’s from a purple/red district in rural Maine.
Who are you?
Someone who can read the room and see voting against a bill that has a 70% approval rating of all Americans (I think it was over 90% for Dems) is not the brightest thing one can do.

What is the GOP angry about today?
Some trite shit to distract attention while they open the seacocks on the nation.

reminding everyone that the Republicans voted against it all
Yes. It was easy to say when one of my sister’s complained, “how are we going to repay that debt?”. My response was the R’s didn’t have any problem borrowing just about as much to give rich folks and corporations tax cuts.
All Americans do not live in one district. Some districts are quite different. And Mainers don’t like furners telling them what to do.

We need to ballyhoo the hell out of this!!!
This, this, and this! Just about every GOPer I’ve seen on MSNBC over the last few days has said the same thing, that the GOP is screwing up horribly by voting against it. That doing so is just stupid. Now it is up to us as to how bad the screw-up turns out to be. Every Dem in the country needs to tie this bill to every damn good thing that happens over the next four years. Potholes got fixed? Stimulus. Kids back in school? Stimulus. Dropped your Covid weight? Stimulus. We need to ensure that Americans connect the relief plan to every good thing that happens going forward while making it impossible for the GOP to demonize it.
