I’ll also note that the VA GOP’s entire message was “Trans? tRaNS?!? TRANS!!!”, and it didn’t work. I wonder if we’re reaching the peak of what turbocharged transphobia can do to influence elections. Everything is terrible, and even not particularly political people can see that transgender people are responsible for exactly none of it.

Here in Cincinnati we have incumbent mayor Aftab Pureval, a democrat, versus JD Vance’s ugly step brother Corey Bowman, a repugnant running without eyeliner. AP called the race a few minutes ago – Pureval with 81.7% of the vote to Bowman’s 18.3. Nice margin, eh?
