Rep. Donna Shalala (D-FL), who was chosen by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) to lead the COVID-19 Congressional Oversight Commission, failed to publicly report the stock sales she made in 2019, as required by the Stop Trading on Congressional Knowledge (STOCK) Act.
What the headline says is true, still I can’t help but feel like it intends to provoke controversy. Shoulda at least added “last year”. Truth=/=fairness.
You can bet your sweet bippy it’ll be a Gooper top-of-the-charts single for weeks if not months: “It’s worse than Loeffler, because Shalala clearly had advanced notice that the Chinese were getting ready to let loose a nasty virus to kill Muricans, whereas poor Kelly Loeffler found out so late that she had to get caught at it…”
Amazingly, in spite of her shrillness, she got several paid speaking engagements. The EPA and the Treasury Department would be exactly like they are now if that horrid old woman had been elected.
