Dayton, Ohio Mayor Nan Whaley didn’t hesitate to air her grievances over President Donald Trump’s response to the mass shootings over the weekend in her city and El Paso, Texas that left 31 people dead.
I would consider this on topic:
Trump mistakenly identifying the location of one of the shootings as Toledo during his statement Monday also seemed to contribute to Whaley’s disappointment.
“My immediate reaction is that people from the coast never understand Ohio and they think all Ohio cities are the same,” Whaley said. “It’s an exhausting issue that we have all the time. You know, if we had people from power centers really invest and pay attention to our communities we’d all be better off.”
Not sure how I’m supposed to see that as being directed at DT specifically. I know she referred to him in the previous part of her statement, but this kinda seems like a headline in search of a story.

Can’t risk having it proven that he perjured himself in his testimony, not like it was at all obvious anyway.
Some people say that Kavanaugh, along with being a raging drunken rapist, is also a seriously diseased gambler, which would explain his large debt that got mysteriously paid off.

personally I suspect the misidentification was intentional, kind of a “wink and a nod” to the even-numbered-chan krew that this was a non-apology effort to appear “concerned” due to the beating the repubes are taking (gotta say sumthin, right?).

If a shooter is using an automatic weapon in a shopping mall, what would make ANY woman (of any color) believe that, just because a racist shooter is targeting POC, the bullets would simply swerve in mid-air AWAY from a young W.A.S.P. mother and her child and then turn BACK to the POC.
My wife, along with her European-American friends, used to enjoy shopping in the local mall when our kids were young.
This will not endear Trump to suburban mothers. Even the white ones.

Donnie’s gonna feel compelled to tweet-rant against the mayor by describing her as a disgrace, and claiming that Dayton is a crime-ridden, rat-infested hell-hole due to her poor leadership.
I have lived on the coast and in Ohio
Ohioans are a strange sort, way too into Ohio State, even those who never even considered attending college, and if my father in law is taken as “fitting that fat part of the bell curve” Ohio baby boomer, he has a deep resentment of the coasts as thinking of Ohio as “flyover country”, when really it’s an insane asylum
