Agree. I think a real threat is cyber attacks on digital vote counting equipment. Russkies made an effort in 2016, but may not have affected the outcome. They’re had almost 4 yrs now to perfect it.

Electors cannot be replaced willy-nilly by any state legislature.
Laws would have to be voided or amended, and there are two slates of electors in most states----one for each party.
Currently, all states select electors through a popular vote (although how that vote works can differ.)
The political parties in each state nominate their electors. Parties and states have different ways of going about this, but a party’s presidential electors are generally loyal or consistent party members. The parties want to be sure they can rely on their electors to cast their votes for the party’s nominee for president.
Stop believing in the media barrage of nonsense about the Electoral College.

These people have no idea what war means. If they mean occupying territory, what territory might that be. And who do they plan to kill? People of color? People with university degrees? Professionals? Or do they just go by zip code? It seems like they are suggesting ethnic cleansing, inbred white folks on crank against the world.

There are states that have R leg and R governor, but those are the ones Trump will win anyway (AR, MO, etc ad nauseam) and states with R leg and D governors (but how many with enough Rs to override a veto?).
Hamburger Hill would be an easier uphill battle to win.

I think many of these tough guy meatballs who love to strut about in camo with their AR-15 penis extenders will find themselves in the position of a dog with its teeth firmly implanted in the rear tire of the car they were chasing. There are many ways to fight a “war” and history is replete with them. You can fight on an information/propaganda level. You can fight on an economic level. You can fight on a military level. You can target leaders. And there is that little passage Jefferson provided about the Tree of Liberty.
While the pencil-necked incel Andrew Anglin appears to be eager for a war against his fellow Americans, he should carefully consider how it might really go down. One tactic is to cut off the head of the snake while the “soldiers” toil against each other. He should ask himself how many heads the hydra has and if he’s one of them. Then he should stare into a mirror and ask himself if he’s really willing to die for his vile beliefs, while others fight against him to preserve democracy. He should think very, very carefully about this, because in the United States of America, up to this point in time, every single opponent of democracy has failed. Every single one.
Just like the anti-democratic Trump will fail and in so doing pull down the enabling GOP with him.
It may become bloody if Trump wills it to be so, and like a coward allows other “suckers” to fight and die for his cause of tyranny, but they shall all fail.
Our parents and grandparents destroyed the racists and fascists of Germany and Italy, and neither Trump nor Anglin are anywhere near as capable as Hitler, though Trump does look more like a feckless blustering Mussolini suspended from Putin’s strings; Mussolini ended with piano wire. Our parents and grandparents persevered through the Cuban Missile Crisis. We made mistakes with Vietnam. We made mistakes with Iran in the 50s. We meddled too much and also made mistakes with Iraq. We paid for some of those mistakes with 9/11, and then a righteous war against Al Qaeda and the Taliban was usurped by the lying Cheney/Bush to involve us again in Iraq.
This time, the enemy is within and without. The same nation of people who overcame Hitler will reject Trump, and his name will become synonymous with and worse than Benedict Arnold and Andrew Johnson. Regardless of the cost, even if it comes to blood, it shall come to pass.
Trump is done. As he has all through his life, he just refuses to accept reality.

Prominent Senate Republicans pushed back on the President, at times carefully avoiding addressing him by name. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) called it “unacceptable not to condemn white supremacists,” without naming Trump directly. Meanwhile, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) said the president should “make it clear Proud Boys is a racist organization antithetical to American ideals.”
When I imagine what these assholes have probably been saying in private their entire lives, and how they have passed and supported every kind of discriminatory racist, xenophobic, homophobic and misogynist laws and judges, I have to say that out of the 3 Trump is the most honest. At least he wears his corruption and racism right out in the open.

You misunderstand. I’m not saying he can legitimately do it.
But he can create enough chaos, and enough court cases (‘Georgia State Legislature Sues Georgia Board of Electors in Federal Court…’, etc ) to confuse the issue and give himself a pretext, however slim, of letting the jackbooted incels off the chain.
