Founder of the neo-Nazi Daily Stormer website Andrew Anglin said that President Donald Trump’s “stand by” remark to the Proud Boys was an unambiguous call to arms, writing on the site that the President’s call to the far-right hate group “gave me shivers.”
“War,” is it? Something tells me this is gonna be a really short, really stupid “war,” in which all these bubble-headed cast-offs waddle down toward 7-11 in their tactical undies and their Proud Boy regalia hoping to find Antifa hiding behind the Funyuns. Let’s just hope they’re the only ones who get hurt when they try it and end up arrested.
But hey, surely the president can tell them not to do that. Right?
How can it be a gaffe if it is consistent with a larger pattern? Trump is messaging who he wants to message, and they are hearing the message clearly. The GOP needs to stop making excuses and acknowledge their leader is a White Supremacist.

Trump is akin to if Charles Lindbergh somehow gained the presidency and giving telegraphed and radio orders to his Nazi followers to harass and attack fellow Americans. Literally the plot against America.
We don’t need a reporter to ask Trump if he has read this report. He hasn’t, and even if he had he would pretend that he didn’t know who the Proud Boys are. Instead, ask Pence. Ask Barr. Ask McConnell, Ask Jared. Ask Lindsey Graham.
