Agreed. Every GOP rep in the House and every GOP Senator should be asked about this and about the threat to install friendly electors when Trump loses. The press should be shoving mics in their faces every time they emerge from their holes.

Don’t count on it. There’s a reason the SPLC has been sounding alarms about these guys for years. This is the (so far) culmination of the disorganized efforts that led to abortion doctors being murdered, clinics bombed, and the Oklahoma City bombing. These people are the ones who grew up steeped in that, who were taught that those abortion bombers were righteous, and that going forth in God’s name to murder a man in church was no sin at all.
And they’ve been working to be the police. Do not underestimate the potential for violence, mayhem, and civil conflict here. Don’t be afraid… but be prepared.

I do agree that the potential is there. And I do fear that they will kill more innocent people before it’s all said and done, even if their forays are as limited as my silliness suggests. I mean, Kyle Rittenhouse did just this sort of thing, and now two people are dead.
I am lucky to live in a small town in a place that’s so blue even the rednecks aren’t.

I noticed that the little jerk in the white truck with the Trump and separatist flags waving hasn’t been seen since Trump’s remarks about the military came out. The family he visits on the street have always had Marine family stickers on their trucks and cars. I’ve wondered if that had something to do with it.

That said, are there truly many real “independents?” Most seem to caucus with the Rethuglicans. (At least where I’m from), anyone claiming the (I) moniker is just (un)virtue-signaling to gain some separation from “the current crop of RINOs” that don’t represent the Real Republican™ mentality.
I firmly believe that anyone that hasn’t already made up their minds about tRUmp by this point isn’t of sound enough mind to be qualified to vote.
