Cuccinelli Won’t Say If ICE’ll Separate Undocumented Families

US Citizenship and Immigration Services acting director Ken Cuccinelli wouldn’t say on Sunday whether Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents will separate undocumented immigrants from their children in the upcoming raids like the Department of Homeland Security did last year.

IF… the Democrats had kicked in more money he would be able to keep families together, but seeing as how they won’t see fit to give in to tRump, he will be forced to separate… and the Dems will be to blame.

Answer is yes…

Judging by Trump’s racist screed this morning and the fact they’ve already separated families at the border, the answer is obvious.

These poor children are going to grow up into scarred adults through no fault of their own, and it’ll be just another crisis Trump will have inflicted on America for absolutely no reason except sheer malevolence. For our (Republicans) moral cowardice, we will pay the price for decades.

The USCIS acting director was evasive.

Which means yes, yes and hell yes. Cuccinelli doesn’t need to be evasive, his boss wants him to do this, and Cuccinelli’s basic attitude towards brown immigrants supports this.

To bad he’s not old enough to remember when Italians weren’t White and weren’t the chosen immigrants…

In the absence of a negative assume a positive.

Silence is consent.

I think he’s from Virginia. Perhaps you’re thinking of Kobach? Really, no difference between the two on immigration or voting rights, except Kobach had a long, ridiculous list of demands for the “immigration czar” job.

Yep, but they wanted tRump to pay postage and you know how that goes.

Alternatively, the only way to keep families together is, obviously, build a wall.

I’m surprised there isn’t more pushback from labor-intensive business owners, small, large and corporate, who depend on undocumented workers to stay competitive, e.g. restaurants, motels/hotels, agribiz, landscaping, etc. Or have they gotten back-door promises that they won’t be affected somehow? Do they really think this won’t hurt the US economy and drive prices up and that there won’t be political blowback as a result?

The moral argument doesn’t work with them and the legal one approach takes a long time to implement and there are ways around it, so perhaps this, plus the political angle, is how to push them back?

So that’s why he’s pulling out of the postal union…

Cruelty is the point so of course children will be separated, to be abused or neglected while their parents are assaulted elsewhere.

Panem et circenses, bread and circuses: lions and gladiators, or the slaughter of families; Trump is a performance artist and this art is what underlings like Cuccinelli practice. The real shock is the size and approval of his audience.

They’re not dumb enough to paint a target on their backs. You don’t think that this administration wouldn’t weaponize ICE to target employees of a specific company/group of companies…

You mean like the farm/dairy industry in Iowa?

If ICE went through Iowa the economy would collapse.

You really think they would win in a fight with, say, Taco Bell or Marriott? Not a chance. Their lawyers and PR people would shut it down pretty quickly. It would be fairly easy to demonstrate their being targeted and win, all the way to SCOTUS.

Trump always loses against real competition. ALWAYS. He’s a punk to the core.

What about Trump’s wife and her parents?
What about his anchor babies{children} ?
Are they here legally?

Naw, because the companies don’t have anything to stand on. An illegal worker is illegal.

When they raid the occasional meat-packing plant in the mid-west, you never hear a company challenging it, because they are just lucky if they escape charges themselves.

Depraved Kenny has not a drop of the milk of human kindness in his shriveled soul as anyone familiar with his political career will attest. This “operation” will be shown to be designed to exhibit maximum cruelty and depravity under the theory that it will be a deterrent. That is it’s Himmlerian “logic.”

Your OneWordAnswer™: No.

Melania lied in her initial tourist visa and did work, therefore everything following is illegitimate, and she and everyone linked to her can and should be deported once Trump leaves office.

Just like happens to other people who have done the same.
