Conway Defends Trump Comments On Cases | Talking Points Memo

White House counselor Kellyanne Conway wouldn’t give a straightforward answer when asked by Fox News’ Chris Wallace in a Sunday morning interview whether President Trump will respect Attorney General Bill Barr’s request for him to stop commenting on current cases.

And we should believe liars like these why? There’s a huge difference between the commentary that other presidents have made about cases, where they are local matters or cause social upheaval due to their nature, and Trump trying to protect one of his friends with direct interference in his sentencing. It’s the usual false equivalence this pack of liars usually deploys here, nothing more.

Isn’t it about time for a flying house to land on this witch?

Very different! Very different! The president telling everyone he wants something done is different than just telling Barr he wants something done! Because reasons!

Kellyanne Conway said “It’s disingenuous …”

You’re disingenuous, Madame! Good day to you!

Kellyanne with more alternative facts (a.k.a. lies) and illogic. She’s a nasty piece of work on multiple levels.

As I always say - they send Kellyanne out when all other hope is lost and they have no real excuses.

Just pretend for a moment that KAC is Glenn Beck selling supplements or gold scams. It’s the same m.o., except the sell and con is extreme political views and policy.

Why does any network still have this lying shill on their air at this point in time?

…citing Barack Obama speaking up in the Freddie Gray case in Baltimore and George H.W. Bush commenting on the Rodney King case in Los Angeles.

Her arguments are just so ridiculous. Were Gray or King convicted for lying to protect Obama or Bush, respectively? Talk show hosts should be prepared to tear her apart, or just not have her on at all.

If Trump said the sun rises in the West, she’d explain that he meant East, except that West is true too if you stand on your head and it’s all because the compass makers have it in for Trump.

Yes, very different. The crimes being investigated directly involve Trump. Obama and Bush commented on cases in which they weren’t the criminal under investigation. Anyway, who cares what Kellyanne Conway says. She has 0 integrity, like her boss and Barr.

Why is what this lying piece of shit said “news” worthy of space on this site? Her job is go out on the talk shows and lie as fast as she can. It’s not “what this administration thinks” when she says it, it’s just what she can do to muddy the water and distract from what the administration is actually doing.

Working “hand in glove,” are they?

Spoiler alert:

That’s not a glove.

And that’s not a hand either.

Trump couldn’t give up tweeting any more than he could give up shoveling junk food in his fat yap or being a traitor.

When Wallace told Conway that “policy is different than criminal cases,” Conway quickly cut in to say that the “attorney general and the Department of Justice cover a lot of territory in this country, Chris, and we work very well with them.”

Whaaaa???

“The President hasn’t done that,” Conway said.

The Five Stages of GOP Grief:

  1. “Trump didn’t commit any crimes!”

  2. “Not everything Trump does is a crime!”

  3. “Democrats commit worse crimes!”

  4. "Some crimes are good!"

  5. “OK, he’s criming right now.”

KAC distorting reality to cover for Donnie is no more news than her asking where to find unescorted children while leafing through her new rotisserie’s manual.
It’s just what she does.
