Besides the obvious suspicion of typical Trump corruption, the other possibility that arises is that Trump and his people don’t want the data to be reported on the assumption that if the bad news isn’t available at election time, then there’s really no pandemic - so, problem solved.
I read somewhere that the company has a connection to Peter Thiel. Can’t find the reference now.
