A county commissioner in Washington issued a mea culpa Wednesday night and called on his colleagues to rescind a motion passed in defiance of Gov. Jay Inslee’s (D) stay-at-home order.
“In our meeting Tuesday morning (April 21) the Board approved a resolution that was not properly vetted, and passed without thorough consideration of the myriad impacts it might produce,”
Translation: “Maybe we should have done something more that watch Fox News…”
In a Just and Rational World we would simply let these individuals get infected; immediately quarantine them; allow Medical Services to determine whether they are willing or not to treat those who ignored medical advice and let nature take its’ course.
It is not limited to Eastern WA. The Snohomish County Sheriff is in the running as well. He’s been rebuked by the County Exec and the Snohomish County Health Dept.
Sounds like one of these clowns finally talked to a lawyer and learned about the kind of legal hammers the state of Washington and private citizens could bring to the party. Reckless endangerment, civil wrongful death suits, the works. And you with the restaurant that wants to open? Kiss your next health inspection goodbye.
