This could so end up like the agreement with Flake to insist on an investigation of Kavanaugh. It looked good on paper but in reality it ended with pretend action followed by the bulldozer of partisan votes. I am skeptical.

Please, please, please let him insist on “testifying” so that he can ramble on about the attendance at the inauguration, how he won 2016 fair-and-square and how stupid fat people drinking diet coke look. Then I want him to collapse in real-time, on the floor of the Senate, and stare up at the ceiling with drool beading up at the corner of his mouth while S. Service folks circle around him without touching him because he has told them never to touch him, and…is it quitting time yet?
