Until Trump claims executive privilege and ties it up in a court battle, delaying every step of the way up to SCOTUS. Where he probably has a better than 50/50 chance of having the subpoena rejected.
I know I’m being a pessimist again, but can any of the legal beagles here chime in on whether executive privilege can be invoked for these memos on the calls to Putin, MbS, et al? Are they public records subject to the Records act or not?

Looks like he used the wrong shade of makeup, and he certainly did NOT blend down into the neck as every makeup expert says. The pink puffy eyes sort of jump out. Maybe a bad application of artificial tanner? BTW, is that a recent photo?

Cannot say this enough. The more “normal” (meaning accepted and meaning COMMON-AND-NOT-SUPERMAN) these individuals are the better it is for us.

I think the situation is different. We’re talking about White House, not the Trump Campaign. There are protocols and rules. Nobody farts without authorization. Nobody wants to take the fall.

Sure it would help, but the White House already admitted the whistleblower was credible and his report closely followed the “transcript” that was officially given to Congress. All we need is the prez admitting he did it, and he already has along with other top officials.

The statement to the Russians in the Oval Office that he was OK with them attacking the integrity of US elections is actually treason and the stuff of the death penalty. I’m waiting for that to penetrate the public consciousness.

I watched Jonathan Alter on a show last night. He made an excellent case that we a have traitor and thug in the White House who has installed his filthy and skanky family members to positions of power and is running an extortion racket at the expense of national security.

Once this impeachment process reaches the stage where it’s so obvious that trump has been operating like a gangster from the start his party loyalists will be flipping (just like in Watergate) and new whistleblowers will be taking numbers to submit their information.

That’s not how modern day American christian nationalist conservatism works. These extremists incredibly vile but intensely loyal, value power and control above all else and live in a fabricated fact-free reality. I am pessimistic.
