CNN: Trump’s Been Obsessively Calling McConnell About Impeachment

At a certain point, that may already have transpired, McMitch will say to him, in that smug but measured way of his, “But Mr. President, you have nothing left to threaten us with, and all that’s left is either your resignation, or a long, painful and brutal impeachment process that WILL end with your forced removal”.

I wouldn’t want to be a WH staffer in the Oval when Trump takes that call. They’ll need stitches.

On the contrary, many people are saying McConnell retracts his head into his shell whenever he is startled.

McConnell’s spokesperson, Doug Andres, denied the report.

“This story, based on a single anonymous source, is categorically false,” he told CNN.

Hah. Truth is its probably based on several sources. Flay, huh? Interesting word usage. Schiff has unsheathed the subpoenas and now we have flaying on the other side. Does that mean the bone saw will reemerge? The political narrative is becoming awfully violent and bloody sounding. Speaking of bloody, we haven’t heard from the Saudis lately. I just know they’re mixed up in some of tRump’s most recent awful decisions in some horrible way somehow.

If I was a crook like Mitch McConnell I would ask Trump for 500 Million, otherwise I would refuse to support him and let the Senate have a free vote.

At very least I would tell him stuff like “I got a rebellion in my hands, nothing I can do… just kidding” a few of those and he will stop calling.

Trump calls, but that doesn’t mean McConnell takes them. If he does, he gets what he deserves.

Oh, and McConnell’s not Trump’s boss. That’d be Putin.

categorically false

Which means, of course, that it is absolutely true.

If the President is impeached, he will one day in the not-too-distant future be indicted–either in federal court or in New York. If he is indicted, he will be arrested. If he is arrested, he will be convicted. And if he is convicted, he will go to jail. You better believe he is calling McConnell.

Moscow Mitch has known that from the get-go.

But since he is utterly amoral and interested only in how to consolidate power to himself, Mitch will do whatever is in his own interests.
If that means embracing trump, then that’s what he’ll do.
If it means cutting trump loose, Mitch will do it without a backward glance.

Lordy I hope there are tapes! I would seriously pay real money for tapes.

“This story, based on a single anonymous source (me), is categorically false,” he told CNN.

And today’s final Jeopardy category is “Lies I have told since yesterday”.

Is it bad I am depressed these numbers aren’t higher. Except Trump voters. I am surprised they were able to give a discernible answer to the survey.

It will play out just like this. It already is, really. That’s what’s happening to the Kurds as we speak.

I am having a difficult time with the entertaining part. It’s hard to feel entertained, disgusted and terrified all at once. There is nothing the president* won’t do to save his own ass. The only comforting thing about it is that he is profoundly stupid and a coward. Those things may limit his destructiveness - I hope. The business with Turkey and the Kurds (also Putin) does not bode well.

O my god - over half the country wants him removed and you’re depressed?

What is wrong with people? This is the best day I’ve seen since he was elected.

Ugh - its like my in-laws on Facebook. Half the posts are some form of strange gloating about how impeachment is good for Trump. The other half are unhinged ravings about Pelosi’s coup du jour.
