The real Deep State, or, as Republicans call it, the New World Order.

exactly. Why was is so necessary to keep this investigation secret? Mueller understands as well as anyone that if you want to get to the bottom of something, you follow the money. But Mueller chose to ignore that … and completely botched the investigation as a result.

Prosecutors were scrutinizing whether Trump himself financed that self-funding, or whether the money actually flowed to Trump via a state-owned bank in Egypt.

He doesn’t have $10 million…

But the unmasking investigation turned up nothing.

OT: That pic is just so fucking creepy!

In other words, he’s broke.

One interesting part that, to me, is not so vague:

On paper, Mueller described the investigation with only three vague words: “Foreign campaign contribution.”

“Egypt was exempt from Trump’s Muslim ban”…despite being the original birthplace of Al Qaeda and home of AQ #2 Mohammed al Zawahiri.

Fify

Then again, Saudi was exempt too, right? Funny.

We need some criminal justice for this group of losers. It should’ve happened with Bush/Cheney/Iraq, but the political ramifications were deemed too harmful. This will be harmful as well, probably explosively so. But we have to go through it to break free of this morass. Our national psyche and sense of morality is in the shitter, and in the words of Rodney Crowell, as expressed by Gary Stewart, we ain’t living long like this.

In future, assuming we don’t fall into a totalitarian white man’s paradise next month, the very idea of a presidential candidate NOT showing their tax returns and other financial entanglements should automatically disqualify them as a candidate.

Didn’t Rod Rosenstein shut down all financial aspects of the Mueller probe? That’s another red flag, isn’t it?

Think of how this has worked to the Republican advantage all these many many years. Reagan got away with crimes Bush got away with crimes bar helped cover them up. Republicans did a lot of crimin’ during the Clinton administration… and yet he is the one who ended up getting impeached. Then Bush II / Prick Sczhlaney crimes even more. Now Chump blows megaton craters obliterating anything the others did.

Of course there is a fine balance of whether or not we should be trying to jail the prior administration. But I think we are at the point where that has to go out the window. Dem’s have never gone the strong and nasty route no matter how deserving prior admins criminals were. And now the public is inured to this. Any attempt by the Dems to be even moderately righteously vengeful is going to look super harsh compared to anything the public is used to seeing.

No minimally competent investigation could possibly be conduct, without examination of motive. And Mueller elected to take motive (among other things) off the table, before even beginning. He conducted a sham investigation, a farce, really. Sad!
