And the statement from CNN would have been better if they’d said “CNN reports facts and the truth. Period. We have paid contributors who are not news reporters, who may from time to time express opinions from their point of view. We refer to many of those people as fucking idiots.”
For me the near universal use of the word “affinity” tags the attack on Vindman as being coordinated at some level beyond Fox News. One wonders where it came from.
I quit watching the cable news shows when I got laid off and had a lot of time on my hands in 2006. Started realizing that the same breaking news was on every hour for 24 hours…It was so repetitively boring, and that was even before the all cable news had 18 billion opinion and coffee or round table talk shows. I don’t understand why people watch them anymore, except maybe the low cut dresses.
The bare minimum dignity of his elected office made Duffy stand or as a zero in a room full of empty suits. It also obscured what a rock bottom, conspiracy mongering lowlife the man really is.
My wife watches that show. Frankly, Abby Huntsman does a great job representing the Republican point of view. Megan McCain on the other hand is a hopeless self important bitty (er, biddy) who clucks over everyone and really doesn’t add anything. She can’t do a show without loudly reminding everyone she is John McCain’s daughter.
Doubling down on idiocy is not evidence of the courage on one’s convictions. Doubling down on idiocy is sucking up to The Audience of One and is a diagnostic indicator of mental sloth and/or deterioration due to lack of use and/or abuse.
CNN Vice President Rebecca Kutler told Politico that CNN reports “from all points of view,” which means “having people who support the President’s policies.”
Supporting the President’s policies and smearing a decorated war hero are not the same. Maybe that’s just me.
