CNN chief Jeff Zucker reportedly defended the network’s decision to continue airing President Trump’s coronavirus press briefings on Monday amid criticism that the briefings have essentially taken the place of the President’s campaign rallies and spread misinformation about the coronavirus pandemic.
Jeff Zucker has to go. He kept with the Trump rallies in 2016, because they got marginally greater eyeballs that just panel dicussions. Zucker is just interested in eyeballs, and will run propaganda if they thinks it will get higher ratings.
it is all getting very close to the line where equal time must be given.

The one plus - now that Trump has actually stepped out of Snarky / Nasty Trump … and has at least momentarily tried to step up and be "Presidential " - he has broken the spell - he can’t get away with going back to being the belligerent Asshole - he now gets graded as a standard “President” - and whoa - boy … will he be getting his ass kicked on that score card!
There is a reason why the ratings are high besides the hope that someone might get some real information. They are an absolutely insane spectacle of gas lighting and nonsense. The issue here is not airing them or airing them, the issue is why cant the press that is present and asking questions do a better job? The questioning is weak.
