Chuck Todd Yells At GOP Sen. Ron Johnson

Fine.

Too little and too late for me to take any interest in Todd’s “journalism” – but making DC Republicans uneasy is usually a good idea.

LIke I said before, when it appeared that Johnson had condemned Trump actions was because the guy is extremely dumb, he is trying to ingratiate himself to the dotard again. Took no time…

“I want to look at the entire truth, Chuck,” Johnson said. “The media doesn’t.”

“And the truth is only when it benefits what you believe is politically comfortable with you?” the NBC News host asked. “I don’t understand: What truth are you looking for?”

Chuck Todd has obviously been spirited away replaced by Clinton/Pelosi/CIA pod person. When the BS is too much even for Chuck, look out.

Remember the good old days when Chuck said it wasn’t the job of the media to call out Republican b.s. about the health care law?

Well, well, well. The stupidest man in the Senate reports what the President told him as if that settles the matter. Isn’t that “hearsay”? And haven’t we been told repeatedly over the last two weeks that hearsay is worthless?

You want that to mean something, Senator Johnson? Then tell your president* to say it under oath. Except the president* has a problem with that, as he showed during the Mueller investigation.

I think every Republican that decided to avoid the media is happy that they did. Only ones representing Trump publicly are the dumb ones or the fat and happy safe district ones. And, of course, those who care not a whit about America’s sovereignty.

Is there any way they can apply a real-time sound effect to make him sound like Alvin the Chipmunk?

RJ can huff and puff all he wants but when this story is written, he will be known as the accidental whistle blower.

RJ freaked Trump out when he called him up with a direct question about the shakedown of Zelensky. He had info he wasn’t supposed to have and Trump started getting paranoid and the WH was abuzz with a mix of a desire to move more quickly to get the job done and CYA. That set in motion a series of events that led to the revelation of this illegal scheme (which now looks like a full blown criminal conspiracy to solicit a bribe (in kind campaign donations) by way of extortion, the unraveling of said scheme, and the likely impeachment of Donald Trump.

It’s just a matter of time before many Repubs realize that the smart money’s on breaking with Trump, at which point, he’s politically doomed. Meaning, he’s already politically doomed and their either don’t realize it or aren’t yet willing to accept and admit it. They’re hedging for now, but deep down most know that he’s doomed and that they have to act accordingly to save themselves.

Wasn’t that Chris Cillizza? He and Chuck are a lot alike so I could be wrong.

Is it possible Todd woke up one morning and realized he was one of the DC journalists enabling Trump’s corruption and decided to make a change? Or are his rating so bad, his handlers let him off his leash?

Considering Republicans have been outright lying on his show for years with him nodding along, this is kind of remarkable.

Just a matter of time before he realizes he is so trapped there is nothing he can do.

After more heated back-and-forth about wanting “the complete truth,” Todd called it quits.

“I’m sorry that you chose to come on this way, senator,” he said as the show’s crew cut off Johnson’s mic mid-response.

No—although he remains a steaming pantload.
