She won a secret vote pretty handily. I wonder what would have happened if the vote had been public.
Bernie has raised over $1.8 million for charity with merch using that image. Also the lady that made the mittens has teamed up with the Vermont Teddy Bear Company to make them and they, too, contribute a good chunk to charity.

They’ve been contemptuous of Trump in private since the beginning. It’s been amply and consistently reported. Mind you it doesn’t change anything in public, since they’re cowards. But this vote is proof.

Caveats abound: I can’t believe I’m praising a Cheney, yeah the secret ballot part is super interesting and I wonder what the public vote would have been, etc. But this is still less-evil triumphing over way-more-evil, and let’s not lose sight of that.
Yes, they’re a jury aren’t they? I bet if it were a secret vote, there would be 90 or so for conviction. Maybe 97, all except Tuberville, Hawley and Cruz.
Now the job of the media should be to corner the Rep House members individually on how they voted on Cheney.
What percentage say for, against or voting is a sacred private right Americans have to be secret because…zzzZZZ. My guess is the third option wins.
I think everyone here knows she’s opposed to damn near everything we care about. But as a person at this juncture, on this fairly black-and-white issue–should presidents form up mobs to attack the legislative branch, actually physically attack it–she was a morally clear hardass. She said that’s wrong and fuck all y’all if you won’t say so. I have some respect for that.
