Just thinking how McCarthy must look over there at Pelosi and wonder how she does what she does . . . or, alternately, must wish either that Trump would shut up or that his caucus didn’t feel themselves to be so beholden to him.

The Dems should try. We’ll see how many of the GOP Reps endorse such violent speech.

That’s all policy water under the bridge now. What will matter is how “tough” she looks to them when they vote. When Trump was the outsider, he was bucking the system: they like that. Now she’s the one standing up to the big boys.
