Gee, maybe Joe can make history by pre-firing him by tweet right now.

I am sure that the incoming administration will be more than willing to overlook this and many other instances of records shenanigans in the interest of ‘healing’ and ‘moving on’.

Seems like it, but I guess the penalties are reserved for the real crimes, like risotto recipes.

I had actually thought that Big Red was operating in a more legit way than most of DT’s minions. Took my eye off the ball for one second …

We should be fair here. President Obama was completely transparent, he wore his tan suit publicly for everyone to see.

Benadick Donnie has stolen, cheated, lied and covered-up. He has tried to hide everything, so this is only the things we publicly know about because despite desperate efforts of Benadick.

Just so we can compare apples to the rotten shat-out apples.

Biden has already named Rochelle Walensky chief of infectious diseases at Mass General in Boston as the new CDC director so it sounds like Redfield is going bye bye.

trump is protected by that stupid DoJ memo but cannot other members of the admin get charged with willful negligence or some other felony? I am no lawyer, just a retired scientist who operates from actual evidence and data.

Redfield should do the right thing and resign on the day Biden steps in. He can then argue that he just held on to prevent Trump from installing someone even worse. But look, when the country is losing more people per day than were killed in Pearl Harbor or 9/11, and 45% of the population still does not understand or believe that this is a pandemic, it is hard to say you’ve done a great job.

Wasn’t preservation of records the whole issue behind the great scandal of Hillary’s email server?

Is this not a criminal offense? If so, charge him and put him in jail if convicted. Don’t worry about the expense - it will be a short trial with real evidence. He should also loose any federal pension. Oh just save everyone time and push him across the border - preferably the east coast border. Make sure he’s wearing his cement shoes, too.

Redfield is a disgrace to his father, the eminent U Chi anthropologist of the same name who was a colleague of my father’s there.

So one way to cleans this and other agencies of Trump’s stench will be to insist some of these people come before Congress and testify, under oath. Refusing to cooperate should be a firing offense. Looking forward to it.

Sort of, and some who thought that was nothing will now call for Redfield’s execution.

Life goes on.
