Cawthorn Apologizes For Allowing Democracy To Happen

OT: while it probably be dismissed by some as not enough, with this new round of student debt forgiveness — tied to national and public service — the Biden administration has forgiven $15 billion in student debt.

  • The bill also takes aim at “critical theory” being taught in schools, an efficient way to make sure all the GOP’s “anti-wokeness” bases are covered in one strike (not clear why it’s not the full “critical race theory” though).

Critical theory is the right term. Schools got no business being critical of stuff in front of kids being school educated. It’d only start kids thinking critical and nobody needs that negativity canceling stuff.

David Madison Cawthorn, Born: August 1, 1995 … so precisely when is he talking about ?
or maybe, since he is so hopelessly in love with Putin… he is confused by who should be considered our “adversaries”

  • Short version : Garland and other DOJ officials fear that the ex-president would pounce on a criminal trial as a megaphone for advancing his lies about the 2020 election and fundraise off the whole affair for an almost certain 2024 bid. And above all, Garland knows Trump wouldn’t be convicted.

This is unbelievably stupid and ignorant beyond sensibility.

I understand the desire to prosecute Trump. But for god’s sake can we first take care of the Zodiac Killer already! He’s joy riding around in Freedom Trucks as if nothing ever happened!

“I have got to tell you how sorry I am that in Washington, DC, we were not able to stop the 2020 election from happening,” a somber Cawthorn told his supporters
… … … …
I guess Cawthorn doesn’t know how presidential terms and elections work.

Just heard a state department dude on NPR say that because of the many war crimes Putin and his generals will be in The Hague or sanctions will continue. Putin’s “off ramp” is the end of a rope or Justice is not served.

He also doesn’t seem to know when he was elected.

Or, he’s lying.

Very strong and very beautiful.

All of it. The Feds have all of Rudy’s electronics!

ETA: Trump would fundraise off it, but Trump fundraises off of everything. The idea that the DOJ is afraid Trump might fundraise is like fearing that Trump would continue to say stupid shit in public. It’s beyond ludicrous.

A few years ago my partner was up in Ladakh, near the Kashmir border. She heard what sounded to her to be cannon fire several different times. It’s a war that’s hidden from the world because if it’s location. I guess now and then there’s an accident.
