I think a lot of boys will cry when they lose their trucks and go to jail.
How is it that they do not understand that everyone views them as assholes?
This is what the GOP has become, trying to hold on to their motley bunch of malcontents who demand more blood be spilled. Jokes on them when the supposed tough guys end up crying like babies and demanding lattes in the jail cell.
They like being seen as raging assholes.
If the protests were more serious than white they would disobey civilly including the possibility of arrest; what John Lewis called making “good trouble.” Martin Luther King was arrested and jailed more than 20 times and that’s how it works; if you’re more serious than white.
ETA: of course fighting a public health mandate doesn’t have quite the same ring as fighting centuries of discrimination and jim crow but if that’s the battle you want then at least try doing it without firearms, violence, and whining.

These truckers do realize that they’re creating a big supply chain bottleneck? Instead of haul freight out of ports they running empty to DC.
And then there’s their rig’s license plates, it won’t be hard to send out the tickets for blocking roads.
I hope they go medieval on their asses.
Frankly, I’m disappointed in the lack of a Layla (a la Goodfellas) montage of the Convoyage take downs. Twitter is off its game.
Is the convoy actually underway? If it is, I sure haven’t seen much.
Remember how some of the 1/6 insurrectionists were complaining about the conditions in the DC jail. Then the warden had to put some of them in a segregated unit so they wouldn’t radicalize others. They even became a cause celeb for the Gohmert caucus who cried about their alleged mistreatment.
If the trucker convoy engaged in violence the same thing would happen to them.
