Commercial vehicle access to the city is very limited. There are only a few places they could enter legally and police would be at each of those access points as well as every other access point around the Capitol. There aren’t many. Point being, they could muck up 695 which is above ground and 395 which is below ground, and runs underneath, close to the Capitol.

Not upgraded, kicked out. The other tenants at 55 Savushkina Street complained that the trolls were giving the building an unsavory reputation. The new digs are another four story building.

The report claimed that the officer entered Nehls’ office and found a whiteboard that contained “suspicious writings mentioning body armor[.]” The officer reportedly took a photo of the whiteboard, which was then passed around to analysts within USCP. The following Monday, USCP dispatched three plain-clothed intelligence officers to Nehls’ office and questioned a staffer who was there about the whiteboard and the legislative proposals it contained.

Honestly this seems inescapably true. We’re uniquely stupid, I grant you, but there are other protest movements in Western countries and you wonder where they came from, at least in part, well, there’s your Occam-approved answer. They’ve done it before and they have have every motivation to do it now.

Bulldozers will chew up the asphalt and tear up the city streets. They have many tow truck like this in Canada. And if the drivers want their trucks back, they need to pay the towing charge: (it isn’t cheap)

There are serious 4th Amendment, constitutional issues at play here.”

These pawns’ entire “protest” boils down to, “We don’t wanna!” and “Trudeau’s not our real dad!” And the dumbest part? They’re whining about mandates that the provinces set - not the federal government! They also don’t have a permit to protest in the city, so it’s also an illegal occupation.
And where is the Ottawa Police Service? Oh, they’re “worried” that if they start ticketing truckers for blocking streets and violating noise and pollution ordinances, the truckers might get angry. So while the cops are tacitly supporting this illegal protest by doing little to stop it, the citizens who pay their salaries have to put up with blocked traffic, closed stores and restaurants, constant horn honking and truck revving, and harassment from these jerks just for wearing a mask on the street. Oh, and don’t forget the usual racism and misogyny from these alleged “patriots” having their now two-week temper tantrum.
My solution is: Call in the RCMP, tell the “protesters” that they have four hours to leave the city or they will start arresting them and impounding their trucks. And if they start to get “angry” and want to fight back, they should then be treated like how cops treat peaceful protesters with legitimate concerns.

The problem in Canada is the Tow truck company’s won’t cooperate as they’re afraid they’ll lose business from the truckers they’re being asked to tow.

And thankfully for them, which I say with some confidence having lived there a few years, the answer for a large majority of Canadians is “hell no.” They notice what happens here (unable to ignore it even if they wanted) and learn to avoid most of our more blatant failures.
Make no mistake — History will not be kind to this period of American history.
