What Your Friends Say About You Saturday’s extraordinary speech by Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney was ostensibly about the collapse of U.S. trade talks, but it was really about the collapse of the United States as a beacon of economic freedom, a worthy partner, a trusted ally, and a reliable neighbor. As you would expect,…

Gonna go ahead and repost this to where more will see it, because the article bears reading…
"Very good read…and not so much about the school shooting thing per se as it is about using that as a way of describing the “civilizationism” going on…
And yeah, that’s Yarvin…who is clearly quite livid about not being as important as he thinks he should be."
Some countries who could do the funniest thing right now to blow up the KKKristofascists’ global-abuse-party…

Holy crap!
The Canadian leader speaks two languages and America’s President doesn’t know one?
Chief Justice John Roberts issued a temporary administrative stay of lower court orders that would have halted construction of Trump’s White House ballroom on Saturday. Instead, construction will continue for now as the Supreme Court considers how to proceed on Trump’s emergency appeal.
In related news: The White House already has a nuclear-proof facility buried deep underground that was completed in secret during the Obama presidency which undercuts Trump’s claims in his ballroom lawsuit, the Washington Post reports.
If I was John Roberts, I’d be seething at the utter dishonesty and disrespect shown to my Court, but then again I’m not a corrupt ideological hack.
Yes, you should be boycotting everything the Ellisons touch.
CF-DJT, brilliant business man as President, because “we” don’t need a Politician in a political office.
Doing his best to kill international tourism in the U-S-A! Canada tourist to Florida and California? Las Vegas?
I don’t think so.
Border towns that sell to Canadians?
There goes that business.
Maybe he thinks there will be a surge of Russian tourism.
The rift between our countries is heartbreaking, not just because it’s entirely unnecessary and harmful to both sides, but because I love Canada almost as much as I love the US. But I have to say, I identify much more with Canada than Trump’s version of America.
“But it’s all of the same piece: a relentless Trump administration effort to demean, denigrate, and demote Canada to American sidekick status.”
Really, Trump’s “politics” boil down to this: I am the biggest asshole in town, so eat shit while I mock you. There is a small global club of other local biggest assholes (Putin, Kim Jong Un, maybe Xi) who don’t have to eat shit.
That’s it! That’s what gets them off. That’s what it’s all about Charlie Brown. GDP, inflation, the general welfare, etc etc. Fuck all that. It’s about me making you eat shit.
And, sshhh, don’t tell him but the punch line is that it’s not working and the world’s biggest asshole is turning out to be one of the world’s smaller dicks.
…even smaller…

So, Trump can keep building a ballroom while they think about it, but wind energy projects must stop completely right now?
So incredibly ironic that of all of those countries on that list, China might be the one we least have to worry about. Because they probably can’t believe how great things are going for them.
The ballroom construction never stopped. This just gave that the OK. From this (and other stories) - ballroom is 65% complete and crews are working 20 hours per day to get it finished.
Ok donnie’s precious ballroom can go ahead. Is there any prospect of donnie doing his damn job?
Of course Stars and Stripes turned out to be an anti-American liberal commie fake news rag. Of course.
When the next Democratic president takes over, I’m going to pull a Reagan and demand, “President (fill in blank), tear down this ballroom!”
