Given the quality of things built by TCF (see Wall or reflecting pool for examples) it will probably have collapsed under its own weight before the next presidential inauguration, saving everyone a lot of trouble.
At this point the ballroom and the arch and all the many many other memorials to Trump’s peerless mightiness will be finished at just about the same time the USA has been reduced utterly and completely to a smoking ruin.
Oh, Trump would just default. He’d rather bring the world down than admit defeat. (And the U.S. owns more of our debt than any foreign country, so he’d be be hurting us the worst.)
Yet another despicable act by this administration. They just fired he editor in chief of the Stars and Stripes for asserting that they report the news as an independent credible news source. For that he was fired. Through three tours of duty in Korea and one in Germany (prior to the internet), the Stars and Stripes was basically our only source of news to keep in touch with American news. What a shame.
Yes, and oh by the way SS’s status as an independent credible news source is written down as law.
I would really love to see the editor of Stars and Stripes sue Trump. Great optics.
Whatever they spent in DC, they are posted in low-crime areas, the gun and drug seizures are pretty consistent to what was being seized prior to the NG deployments, and I might add that there would be at least one guardsman alive rather than being targeted by a crazy dude.
President Trump is absurdly threatening the Center for American Progress with a $5 billion defamation lawsuit unless it retracts a report it published last month titled: “The Trump Administration’s $1.7 Billion National Guard Deployments Fail To Reduce Urban Crime.” CAP called the threatened lawsuit “baseless” and “a transparent attempt to silence us.”
