California Bar Says It’s Not Buying Eastman’s Rationale For Delay, Citing Recent Interviews

An oath used to be held a weighty thing, and not just in Shakespeare’s day. I think that, even today, most people, when they take an oath, do so solemnly, feeling its moral weight, especially when public ceremony surrounds the act.

Eastman can assert the 5th all he wants. We will just play those tapes as admissions against interest.

The purpose of the 5th was to prevent force being used to obtain damaging admissions – not to prevent damaging admissions being used against you.

Interesting that the U.S. Supreme Court dropped the “Independent State Legislature Theory” like a radioactive, rotten, hot potato before the Eastman indictment came down. All the justices can now sit there in their newly laundered and pressed robes while Eastman is crushed under the weight of his anti-American plot. I wonder if they knew.

When Eastman goes to GA to turn himself in, the headline better be, “Eastman’s Future Heads South.”
