Anything to sow distrust in the election. It’s the GOP go-to move.

I don’t know the details of California law, but I really don’t care if the GOP wants to do ballot harvesting, so long as it’s fine for everyone else too.

The check is in the mail.
I will deliver your ballot for you.
I won’t…

Honestly, there’s only a vaguely remote chance this will help any Republicans in the state. They’re just desperately flailing.

Could this be the reason the Orange One was ranting so confidently about winning California while he was high on steroids and fetal-harvested Baby Juice™

Why does this dropbox have a furnace at the bottom?!

The assholes need to get a spine. “may break the law”? They fucking do. And again they blew it. Mouths should have been kept shut. Stake out the boxes. As soon as someone shows up with a key swarm in. Sweat them down. And get to the fucking truth!

It is desperation.

The article has this feel that everyone doesn’t quite get that it is a deliberate and malicious act. Just call it foul.

Tricking people into handing over their ballots to God knows who, with God knows what purpose, though…
It’s the claim that these are official, government-sanctioned drop sites that’s the biggest issue. The ins and outs of allowing third party collectors is a different one.

I’ve been doing some text banking elsewhere, and as far as I can tell all these GOP shenanigans haven’t scared people off of voting, instead it’s made them really, really determined to make sure their vote goes to the right place–and counts.

It puts ballots in the hands of folks the voters did not intend on having their ballots. It allows selective return of ballots or the total pitching of them.

“May violate law”? There’s not really any room for a “maybe” when it comes to law-breaking, is there? I do hope this will end with some actual prosecutions. Smells like “voter fraud” to me, committed by the GOP, as usual.

and an opportunity for lawsuits (delays) at counting and confirming time.

It is Not a furnace. It is their trapdoor to hell. If it is unofficial, one might be excused for thinking it was a trash receptacle (for really nasty trash).

Any chance a gop could go to jail over this?
