This is old news, as it happened a couple of days ago.
As major products pull their support (and hopefully they stay pulled), she may lose her business. All for something that she thought would be ‘fun’. The expression on her face in the photo is nothing but pride and arrogance.
Have to wonder how many years it took for her to build that business, only to lose it through sheer stupidity.
Apparently, the trump-supporting owner of the shop has been forced to recognize she wasn’t as clever as she thought she was.

Gigi Gaskins, who is listed as HatWRKS’s owner in public records, apologized Saturday on Instagram for the merchandise resembling the badges the Nazis forced Jews to wear during the Holocaust.
“In NO WAY did i intend to trivialize the Star of David or disrespect what happened to millions of people,” she wrote. “My hope was to share my genuine concern & fear, and to do all that i can to make sure that nothing like that ever happens again.”
Previously, Gaskins had said people should be “outraged by tyranny” in the world and blamed her detractors for not understanding what is happening around them. In another post, she alluded to concerns about coronavirus restrictions and stated that she was a “target of the mob.”
[To be clear, I’m just passing along what was being reported on WaPo. The fact that she still seems to feel that she has any justification to compare the Holocaust to wearing a mask is disgusting.]

You’d figure that some of these folks learned from the Zara incident a few years ago. They had a pajama shirt with stripes and a star on it that bore an uncanny resemblance to concentration camp clothing. Apparently some of their designers were tone deaf. Then again I wouldn’t expect much from a MAGA store owner.
I’m glad she reaped what she sowed, but what of MTG? Sure, she lost her committee assignments, but she still has her seat, her platform, and ability to raise millions. It seems the powerful are reluctant to hold other powerful people responsible preferring to hide behind rules or laws they themselves set up.
Does anyone seriously think MTG is repentent or learned her lesson in any way?
