Bragg Sues Jim Jordan To Block GOP Meddling In Trump Case

In that case I’d be ok with it since my state is taking money away from public schools to give it to private schools. What are the chances the state legislators will be interested in overseeing those private (christian) schools?

Zilch

Since Gym is an upright innocent pursuing only righteousness, I am sure he’s eager to turn over all Trump related communications received by his office in discovery.

Gym is working for Trump, not for his constituents. If he didn’t want to do his job, he should not have run for office. There is no way that there won’t be violence.

I don’t think they can. They can review what happened after the fact, but they can’t meddle in an ongoing criminal investigation.

If anyone knows for certain, please correct me. But oversight doesn’t typically include working to prevent something from happening in the first place.

….

Etc.

Basically, it will disrupt Jordan’s work flow and schedule, slow down the process, and perhaps allow a compromise where Jim gets to interview Pomerantz and basically get very little out of him.

Check out the whole thread.

Gym Neighbors is scared to death Bragg will catch him with his hand in the cooky jar.

@Jim_Jordan was probably the kid on the playground who would tag someone, and then when they got tagged back, would screech and cry that they didn't want to play any more.

Gym has been de-jacketed for a long time, may it’s time to de-pants him so we can slap him down more effectively.

The problem is that constituents must like what he’s doing, because they keep voting for him.

He won his 2022 election by 38 points.

The pantsing could happen at his “field hearing” in Manhattan next week. If it even happens.

What legal warning, and what happens to Gym should be barge on, which is what he’s going to do? This is just Bragg stalling the subpoena until it is irrelevant or the term of congress expires.

“Indict the President for no crime”?? WTF is this pea-brain on about? He does not understand that an indictment is an accusation of a crime, and that The Defendant will have a chance to answer that accusation in a court of law. For a member of Congress, Jordan does not know shit about the law.

Nonsense.

Maybe not. Name recognition goes a long way towards being elected and his constituents know his name very well by now. He’s made sure of that.

Good, then it’s nice to see him playing the same game that the Rethuglicans frustrated the Democrats with.

They are exceptions to the protection from arrest within the capitol or in traveling to/from a session of congress. The exceptions do not apply to the speech or debate clause. Go and read it, note the fucking semicolon.
