Wonder if the speech will get any airtime, other than maybe here?

It would be nice if, for once, the opposition would get some face time.

Let’s go, Joe. Play offense, not defense. Make Bunker Boy respond to you. Corona virus, health care, the economy, corruption…kick him in the nuts with these issues.

Biden will tear into Trump for having “long ago forfeited any moral leadership in this country.”

We hear you Mr. Biden and we strongly echo your sentiments!

And in the first place, Trump cheated with foreign help to get narrowly elected, and later installed corrupt minions like Barr & Rosenstein to cover up for his deeds…So morally, Trump should not even be a leader of this country!

Between this and the Michael Flynn decision, there will be scattered temper tantrums with a high probability of Tweet storms this evening.

And the media better goddamn well lead with that story. Stay strong, Joe. You can’t imagine the toxic garbage that will come at you like missiles.

CBSN will air it per Ed O’Keefe. TPM should air it but who knows.

The headline should read, “Biden says Trump is too cowardly to tell his supporters to stop shooting and killing police and protesters.”

Unfortunately for America, that is precisely what his base loves about him. They have pledged their undying fealty to him because he lacks even an ounce of moral leadership, and is leading American away from a democratic form of government. For t rumpp, this is his reason for being. First it was only his hotel in Moscow, but now, it is the end of America as we know it.

(My apologies if this sounds unusually bleak. It is a cloudy day outside.)

This kind of suggests that Cockholster had the ability to exhibit even an iota of “moral leadership” at any time in his miserable, crime-spree life.

Fuck his base.

“Rip”, or “slam”?

Pick one. Both suggest some form of violence.

At least it’s not “rail”.

The pundits will give Joe points for graciousness.

Biden now has a press pool that travels with him. Trump can try to suck all of the oxygen out of the room but Joe can counter pretty fast.

That these two are considered equivalent in any universe is a travesty.

Chris Murphy is going there and others will follow: https://www.dailykos.com/stories/2020/8/30/1973642/--Trump-is-deliberately-killing-people-His-plan-is-to-kill-people-Let-s-just-say-it

They don’t use excoriate a lot or even chastise. The pundits must think they’re woody words.
