So earlier this week, as I was being wheeled down the hospital corridor to the procedure room for a thoracentesis (that’s where they stick a needle through your chest wall to drain fluid that is collecting around a lung), the tech was telling me about how often he forgets to put his mask back on when he comes off break. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that they’ll create a booster that is not mRNA for those of us that can’t take the Pfizer and Moderna boosters. Something that also protects against the latest variants would be nice.

The man is a machine. Anyone who watched him through the 2020 primaries saw him push through a brutal schedule that would have given someone 20 years his junior trouble. The rest of us can only hope to be as active and healthy as Biden at that age.

Pretty sure it is but it’s hard to tell.
They need to figure out how to put the important stuff in another vehicle. Those of us that are allergic to the current mRNA formulations are going to be left out if they don’t figure out a second option.

I wish Biden had handed off to Kamala immediately after he tested positive out of an excess of caution. Filmed hand off ‘I only have the symptoms of a mild cold and I have full faith in Kamala. But it is an unpredictable disease so I’m putting her in charge until the doctors clear me.’

I can commiserate… In January, 2121 I had a collapse of my right lung. Sure as hell did not feel “right”. I had coughed hard and 10 minutes pass and then up came a large clot followed by fresh blood… Mrs darr drove me to the ER. 10 hours later I was released. All in all not one of my better days to be stuck in a single room but surrounded by sick people spewing virus everywhere. By luck I did not catch the virus.

Eustace occasionally comes out of character to post something relevant, you might have missed it. The rest is flavor or “color” for the site, like a fun decoration on the walls. I don’t mind it, and it occasionally snares a newbie who doesn’t get it and thinks it’s a Trumptard posting.
