Former Vice President Joe Biden appeared rejuvenated and ready for Super Tuesday the day after his major win in the South Carolina primary Saturday evening.
Itās a fine line to talk about Sanders outspending him. Thatās a lot of small donations that have added up. Bidenās own anemic fundraising is really no oneās fault but his. A follow up question to that point could prove sticky for Biden.
Whether Biden or Sanders, I hope Democrats (and independents) can coalesce, otherwise we get 4 more years of this, and he will undoubtedly try to make it for life:
Iām interested in knowing what sort of discussion Clyburn had with Biden. Iām hoping it was along the lines of please stop saying you can work with Republicans.
Because you canāt, as Adam Schiff might say. No one can. Theyāre a lost cause that need to be brought down to restore Americaās promise.
I donāt know what is going to happen in this election. Once Trump won, I gave up trying to figure politics out. However, I do think that Biden might be right about this. Bernie has a lot of weird stuff in his background.
He has never been able to explain how his signature Medicare For All plan would work. He invokes little bitty Denmark as a model, but not even Denmark has a plan as radical or costly as Bernieās.
Imagine the attack ads from Trump and his right wing enablers of Sanders kissing up to the Russians, the Iranians, the freaking Sandinistas and God knows who elseā¦add open borders to the mix and the Democrat party will be forced to either defend Sanders or try to ignore him. How does that work?
I live in Indiana. I doubt if any Democrat would carry this state. But Obama did just that in 2008. If Sanders is the nominee, there is no point in my even showing up to vote. But I will, because Trump is an appalling human being.
Of course, it is all about the money. For a bunch of people who hate anyone with money Bernie bots are good at bragging about their ability to raise money for their guy. After all, once heās president everything will be free!
