I’m wondering what people here at TPM think about Biden’s reasoning for running again and if he should be running at all. I’m not even sure why he thought he needed to make that pronouncement.

My guess is that it’s a means of poking the bear . It’s a direct challenge to TFG, goading him to run again, and making it harder for other potential GQP candidates to announce a potential run.
