The move comes after the Supreme Court issued rulings last month finding that the president has the authority to remove the heads of similar independent agencies.

Until Alito decides it only works that way for Republicans, tough shit, Mitch. You know who else had a 10 year term and was fired prematurely? James Comey. Didnā€™t hear anything from Mitch or Grassley then.
