Biden Projected Winner Of South Carolina Presidential Primary | Talking Points Memo

It’s the first time I have been flagged. I dare say I struck a nerve. These are nervous times.

I wish. The exit polls show 60% of blacks voted for Biden, 17% for Bernie. Whites (who are actually quote liberal in S.C, if of a small number) voted 26% Biden, 25% Bernie, 17% Buttigieg.

The difference is that Blacks know that Bernie’s shit will not fly with their white neighbors, and they want to WIN. They know how dangerous Trump is, and they want him gone. What little black support Bernie got is from the 18-29 demographic, people too young to understand what sells in America.

Sanders was never really vetted, but now he is. What is also telling is the individuals with which he surrounds himself. A press secretary who still boasts of voting for Putin stooge Jill Stein. But the lot of them.
Tweeted earlier:

“I knew George McGovern. Bernie Sanders is no George McGovern.” -
…Gary Hart
Disclosure: I worked for McGovern.

Do they have Boomers in St. Petersberg? What do they call them there?

They call them “voters.”

No way, she beings nothing to the table. No new voters. Biden needs someone who is not 70 and has a “shrill” voice. It would have been Harris, must better fit, but I am now thinking he needs to go with Stacy Abrams.

Bingo. Much as I love Warren she is a liability. Stacy Abrams.

Plan working. Thanks to all, esp our friends at Bsma. Bringing more facilities online this month to spread a lot more viruses. Trump is doomed. Joe is all-in. Next stop… NOV!!

Yes, in some recent polls only Sanders rises above the threshold required to win delegates, but:

  1. Some of the others are within a point of two of crossing that threshold, assuming they’re still in the race at the time of the California primary.

  2. Anything can happen between now and the California primary.

And yet the voting will continue and continue to be fair. There is no rigging or shenanigans. It will produce the results we must deal with and unify around.
Whatever those results are, nothing matters more than destroying Trump amd white Christian nationalism. They are the single greatest threat to this country and the world.

Maybe that’s why he made a 3 minute ad to air tomorrow night on all networks. He talks about the coronavirus and his leadership abilities. He spending 125 - 300 million airing the announcement/ad.
The amount depends on if he’s charged a premium or not because of last minute nature of the purchase.

I love her politically. If I could put her in the white house, without her damaging down ballot candidates I would. But she has political feet of clay, and is just a really, really shitty politician. Unmovable in her views and tends to just be nasty. She had her shot, and they way she blew it (stick to your guns, don’t adjust, refuse to adapt, be nasty) is so telling of all of her weakenesses).

Gil Scott-Heron’s The Revolution Will Not Be Televised is always deployed as a one-off.
Where, I’ve always liked his takes in B-Movie even a bit better–

Your life ain’t nothin’ but a movie…

Nah, as I noted earlier Biden/Abrams or Biden/Harris. He needs a minority and someone who is not 70 and “shrill”. Abrams would put GA in play, and help in FL, and probably AZ, also in WI and PA where Clinton did really poorly with Black voters.

Well put. She kept committing political suicide - open borders, abolishing private health insurance; prison inmates are “entitled” to taxpayer funded transgender surgery; how badly she handled “Pocahantas”; Trump would mop the floor with her. Funny how John Judis (much as I like him) in his political obituary, refused to discuss these above unforced errors.

Warren brings liberals to the ticket. It’s a solidifying ticket for the party.

I like Warren, but Abrams does that, too.
