President-elect Joe Biden on Tuesday joked that Attorney General Bill Barr had called him, “asking if I can get him in the witness protection program for endorsing me,” after Barr finally acknowledged earlier in the day that the Justice Department had seen no evidence of widespread fraud in the presidential election.
“I feel like I’ve done something good for the country by making sure that Donald Trump is not going to be president for four more years,” Biden said.

Biden does have a very authentic voice – I particularly liked the reply that he has felt “no elation” about being elected because there is so much to do, and then reflecting, “I feel like I’ve done something good for the country by making sure that Donald Trump is not going to be president for four more years." It just seems so direct. We are going from the world’s biggest egomaniac to someone who incredibly seems rather humble and realistic about his predicament – I wonder how the media and the public will react to the sudden lack of showmanship and drama.
