As you pointed out, no matter what Schumer’s personal “style” may be, as the new leader of a not-quite-majority, he is highly motivated to shape a Senate that can legislate. The question is where that Senate will legislate: in what direction?

It’s called “competent Governance”.
To be sure we saw it in the Obama administration where the Government was repaid almost all the money from both TARP and the Auto Bailout. Had Republicans been in power, like they were when their policies created the need, the money would have been stolen like the rebuilding aid for Iraq and New Orleans after Katrina. But because Obama was in office the Government recovered almost all of the money in both cases.
Republicans do not believe in Government so treat it like a joke aimed at benefiting them and only them and so have no real plans or policies beyond enriching themselves. Because of this ideology that Government has no role in making peoples lives better, Republicans are incapable of competent governance. Hence they have no plan or even clue on how to inoculate 300,000,000 Americans from a pandemic that previously would have been stopped by competent governence.

This is so sad and pathetic. I don’t know if the last four years have made me a worse person or what, but I find her tearful pleas to god and tRump hilarious. I hope she gets the help she needs. On a serious note: This is actually highly disturbing, and exhibits brainwashed cult behaviour where the subjects are lost without their leader. They need to belong to something and now it’s gone. She’s obviously experiencing some sort of psychotic break.
At least under Biden she’ll be able to afford her psych-meds. There, I’m still a good person.

This is so divisive of Biden. If he truly wants to unite the nation then he should keep everything the way Trump had it and basically do nothing for the next 4 years, since Trump’s policies were so perfect and successful leaving no possible room for improvement. He was basically a political version of god, if not god himself. He should also rehire Jarvanka as key advisors and bring back the Dream Team of Bannon, Miller, Conway, Carson and of course Matt the Man Whittaker!
