Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden apologized on Tuesday night for referring to the impeachment proceedings against former President Bill Clinton as “partisan lynching” in 1998.
He apologizes for calling Clinton’s partisan lynching a “partisan lynching.” Next he’ll say that he’d consider restoking the partisan Benghazi frenzy because it’s something that may need to be revisited. Oh, and What about her emails?
He’s got about as much conviction as a dishrag on a clothesline.
Stay out of it, Joe. No need for you to insert yourself into this discussion and CERTAINLY not to bring up your own misstep that can now allow the media to point to ‘both sides do it’.
The articles isn’t exactly clear on that. Okay, I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt and assume he was responding to a question. Unfortunately it doesn’t matter at this point.
I’m no Biden fan but this is the right move. It would have come up at some point. Best that it comes up now, when there’s so much else going on. The chaos actually suits a flawed candidate like Biden.
I don’t know…I think we are seeing the death by a thousand cuts playing out here.
He isn’t getting out in front and leading on anything…so he isn’t raking up wins. Instead he is constantly apologizing for something. I said this a long time ago, and I think its still true…at some point, people are just going to get tired of constantly having to defend him.
Right now, there are still a lot of people undecided, and a lot of people committed to people who won’t last. I don’t see Biden making a very good case for those people to come support him, except…I am in the lead.
