President-elect Joe Biden announced on Wednesday night that he had picked Ron Klain to be his White House chief of staff as the current Trump administration continues to stonewall the Biden team’s transition process.
I do love seeing “Biden” as the first word of a headline.
And seeing the header picture of a ordinary human face with a smile on it.
Roll on, January 20.
Someone that has vast experience, has worked with Biden for years and knows how the system works.
What a novel way to operate, but pretty sure I can get used to this approach.
What is new? He checked out from the start. 240,000 US citizens have dies with estimates of 144,000 due to the President’s lack of concern and action. This is the legacy of the Republican Party as 4 Senators had the power to stop this from happening but only used their words and not their votes. And people die as a consequence of Party over the Country. Remember their actions.
We need real leadership asap. Selection of Chief of Staff for the Biden Administration is another new start.
He went with somebody with whom he is very familiar. That is always a good move when you want to hit the ground running. Klain also has experience dealing with disease outbreaks.
Ron Klain is a superb pick as Biden’s chief of staff. He’s knowledgeable about policy, savvy in the ways of Washington, and intimately familiar with the White House and leading a team. Klain will hit the ground running, which is essential with the sorry mess left behind by the Trump regime.
I’m so old that I can remember he was the head of Obama’s Ebola Task Force (back when we called them ‘czars’) and the Republicons had a fit because he wasn’t an expert on infectious disease or public health (Scott Atlas shrugged).
My how times have changed. Good pick - he’s an impressive guy.
However … logic-challenged Hannity fails to comprehend that his opinion matters not.
Except … in one amusing way … his anger at the President-Elect’s selection … is … in and of itself …an acknowledgement of the legitimacy of Biden as President-Elect !
He appears on MSNBC pretty often and while enough can’t be said about his vast experience, I just want to point out that he comes across as a genuinely deeply decent human being. He’s one of the really good guys. The current administration and everyone in it from the beginning have been just extraordinarily smug assholes. While the importance of experience can’t be overstated, decency matters too.
Decency really is equal to experience.
Don’t have tv, so don’t see regular talking heads, but have watched a video of Klain talking about his appointment by Biden and Covid. There are quite a few videos of him talking about Covid since it started.
