Not watching. After my bedtime. I’ll check TPM at 5 tomorrow morning.
Announcing the VP during the debate implies he has told the putative VP s/he is the one.
What if not and the person declines???
“And I said something last night on Flashpoint that, you know, the secular media is talking about, wouldn’t it be great, I’m going to say it for the audience that maybe didn’t see it last night, wouldn’t it be great if President Trump would go and reach out to this Biden guy and move forward and give him a hug, and at the same time, his hand slips and we see who’s under that mask, wouldn’t that be great for the whole world to see?”
Not to mention the optimum number of flushes for a toilet, the comparative flow rates of shower heads and the physical efficiencies of magnetic vs steam catapults.
The British have avoided the catapult question by not having any, and therefore making their two carriers effectively useless. Mind you, they don’t have enough planes to fill half of one up, let alone two, so not that great a loss.
The part of me that understands that we live on The Bad Timeline has been telling me all month that TRUMP is the most desperate-while-powerful villain in modern US history. And he’s got really powerful ~frenemies abroad, who share TRUMP’s desire to break the back of the world’s greatest superpower.
I would not be terribly surprised if an attempt on Biden’s life was made in connection with either of these debates. I could see anything from a classic guns-or-militia assassination, to a genuine mental break and personal violence, to Polonium 2.0.
The conspiracy theory that there is a young and knowledgeable “faceless man” Democratic operative indistinguishable from Biden seems to be gaining traction among some Trumpers.
