In the last couple of weeks, Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) has assumed a new role: spokesperson for the Democratic caucus’ frustration.

OT, but here’s Faux News gloating over the success of their plan to fuck the economy by sending myriad hillbillies to their COVID deaths…

I guess if someone has to call a spade a shovel and smack some people over the head with it, Sanders is as good a candidate as any.

OT, but like I said…the only lesson they learned was to never ever balk again…

Sanders is a good pick for this role, but he shouldn’t be the only one. No one person should be the only one playing bad cop. Get another 6 or 7 to join in, and then watch the holdouts squirm.

But recently, he’s turned his ire inward, at members of his own party.

They aren’t actually in his party at all. Maybe that’s why he’s the one doing it?

Sanders is ideal for this role because, unlike what the article implies, he is not a Democrat.

Meanwhile, and not surprisingly, the rest of MSM have buried these little nuggets in the final paragraphs -

July’s already-strong gains were revised higher by 38,000 to 1.0913 million, while August’s big letdown also was revised up, to 366,000 from the initially reported 235,000.

Bernie is a bulldog biting these two in the arse with a legitimate question. Bernie is showing these two have no other agenda than screwing democracy.

Bernie Sanders: gruff, curmugeonly, dismissive mouthpiece, shouter, gadfly, good egg.

Bernie will not be invited to Joe’s next houseboat rave.

(Even if he promises to bring his famous Maple Taquitos again.)

Biden addressed (watched it on-line) the September jobs report as a positive that the economy is improving despite Covid. Unemployment is down to 4.8% and has improved for Hispanic and African Americans. My reaction to the doom and gloom is meh. Things are actually getting better.

Let Bernie play bad cop that’s fine with me.

The Beltway Boys are not cheering Democratic success. It’s what is in these bills that should be allowed to cheer Democratic success. My focus is more what Sanders is saying about the bills. If he were simply saying, “Manchinema should pony up” and leaving it at that, that’s one thing.

But it is the descriptions of what is in these bills THAT ACCOMPANY what he is saying about Manchinema’s actions which are designed to resonate with the American people

Information…

…the Drama–on the other hand in the Beltway MSM–is for the $$$$$$$$$$ people who trade on fear and strife

Yup, and he is schooling Dems on how to message.

Let them gloat away. It seems pretty likely that a year from now the economy should be humming along and recovering pretty nicely. Most voters won’t give a shit that a year prior a bunch of assholes hurt the economy by killing themselves.

Agreed. This is the perfect role for him against Manchin. When they come to an agreement Manchin can tell his voters he stood up to the sosh-a-lism.

It’s harder to proclaim Democrats in Disarray if Sanders is not a Democrat
