The Jan. 6 panel notched an indictment last week, after the Justice Department charged Steve Bannon with two counts of contempt of Congress over his refusal to comply with a committee subpoena.
David Schoen, who took center stage in defending former President Trump at his February 2021 impeachment trial in the Senate, has joined Bannon’s defense team.
Isn’t that the attorney who attempted to bore the senate to death during the second impeachment trial?
Wow, that’s an insane amount of extra-legal pontification and a radically ill-informed assessment on the merits of the issue. Chill, and maybe hold back your Bad Takes next time.
All appearances to the contrary, Bannon says he gave up alcohol a couple decades ago, and there are no first-hand accounts that dispute it as far as I have ever been able to find.
Bannon, 67, walked through a group of media photographers outside the FBI field office in downtown Washington. Bannon told the news media, “I don’t want anybody to take their eye off the ball for what we do every day…We’re taking down the Biden regime.”
