AZ SoS Says Maricopa Election Equipment Shouldn’t Be Used Again After Sketchy Audit | Talking Points Memo

Huh? How did they do that? I call BS. They picked up nothing and threw out valid ballots with names like “Jackson” and “Gomez” on them.

I thought they had picked up some votes but I could very easily be mistaken. There have been so many recounts and re-recounts now that it makes me dizzy.

“Hobbs said that, in keeping with guidance from the federal government’s cybersecurity arm, the equipment should not be reused, given the chain-of-custody issues.”

Chief Investor Ivana Phish responded, “Malware we plant make for glorious benefit of Siber-Ninja!”

Everything Trump touches turns to shit. Literally.

Indeed. In Japanese, 者 “ja” is a nominalizer and can be singular or plural, and 忍 “nin” (shinobi) is stealth, so it already means a stealthy person or persons.

Who knew that allowing a bunch of Clown Ninjas unsupervised physical access to voting and tabulating machines wouldn’t be a good idea?

I mean, who knew? /s

Are they going to recount a recount, or audit a recount next?

No, the bill needs to go to the Arizona Republican Party. The people of AZ shouldn’t be on the hook for this fiasco, just the deluded politicos who insisted upon it.

They just did an audit of a recount so next one supposes it would be a re-audit and then a re-recount and so forth.

The goal of this gaslighting “investigation” is to destroy peoples’ faith in the electoral process.

I would guess that the various panels on the machines have tamper-evident seals that would be broken by opening the equipment. They would only need screwdrivers to remove the panels and break the seals.

Now, if they connected any external equipment to the machines, even briefly, then the machine is no longer usable, and this appears to be what Katie Hobbs and Homeland Security are suggesting.

Wouldn’t that be a crime? Tampering with a voting machine?

If your goal is to take down Democracy, then actually destroying the voting machines is called “progress”.

If not, it ought to be. If it’s not, then the manufacturer ought to have a civil complaint.

It is crime in only 33 states according to a quick tiptoe through Google and Az isn’t one.
