AZ SoS Says Maricopa Election Equipment Shouldn’t Be Used Again After Sketchy Audit | Talking Points Memo

The price of the sketchy, already-expensive Arizona audit may have gotten even higher.

According to a letter Thursday from Arizona Secretary of State Katie Hobbs, Maricopa County — the target of a 2020 recount ordered by the state’s GOP Senate — may need to replace the election equipment it turned over to the auditors under a legislative subpoena.

They definitely need to check the equipment to see if it was tampered with, there should be clear indications if the machines were physically opened or messed with. They all should be completely wiped and rebuilt by the manufacturer to ensure that there aren’t any hacks of the equipment. Recertifying the machines this way will take time but save money, which seems like a good compromise…and the bill should go to the AZ Senate.

The entire audit has been a complete joke, meant to create a result that isn’t honest, and odds are the report was already written before a single ballot was examined.

You get a much better fit that way.

“Despite the various fiascos plaguing the audit, Trump supporters are now trying to replicate it on other states”
Because of course they are…it’s the only way they can win an election…they have NO policies except cutting taxes for the rich, and 'bortion…so they have to cheat their way to victory…

Get the meanest lawyer in Arizona and sue those fuckers for every nickel they’ve cost and then put a nice round sum on top for defamation. This is just outrageous.

Oh those terrible tax and spend Democrats wasting all our money…

Something tells me that the fabled Cyber Ninjas won’t be around as a company much longer.

Time for the DOJ to step in, seize the ballots and send the bill to the Senate President Karen Fann.

Let her go find the funds from Newsmax.

Well, you’d expect ninjas to vanish into the darkness without a trace, wouldn’t you?

They can dissolve themselves and reform under the more accurate name Cyber Nimrods. Really the most glaring serial pooch-screwing I’ve seen since Giuliani et al. came cartwheeling into the ring last winter.

I pity the pooch.

There are so many to choose from, but I think my favorite morsel of stupidity so far is when the Maricopa County IT had to explain to the Cyber Nincompoops how to correctly mount a RAID volume.

Sounds like a job for an industrious Dominion sales rep.

Bound to be a higher sales commission than what they would get from flogging the product line of the MyPillow subsidiary.

They need to have the manufacturer examine the machines to determine if they were tampered with. If they were, heads should roll.

Really. You think you hate Republicans.

OMG. We’re going to get to the bottom of what you did! Um, by the way could you tell us how? That’d be great.

They never got the proprietary passwords did they? I’d still trash the machines and have the ninja’s pay for new ones.

Agreed, but the AZFraudit Team probably still have their home VCRs flashing 12:00 12:00 12:00.

Doubt they’d be able to hack anything more complicated than a single slice toaster.
