She’s too much of a loose cannon for Dems to be comfortable. It’s all about her, not the country.

Read the signs, Senator, AZ is changing. What’s the worst that could happen, you lose your job?

Maybe a visit by Jim Clyburn would budge Sinema.

I’m not kidding.

I truly do not get Krysten Sinema. Manchin, I get. He wants to represent the people of West Virginia as a Democrat, and that means he has to make noise about how he wants to work with Republicans and has to extract mostly minor concessions from the Dems before agreeing to do anything without some R’s on board. And he mostly truly believes what he says!

Sinema came into politics working for Ralph Nader and the Green Party. She came to local prominence as a lefty anti-Iraq War organizer. She got elected to the state legislature as a mainstream Dem, kinda quirky but nothing really objectionable. She moved further right to run for the Senate seat, and now she’s doing her twee centrist showboating act all the damn time and to no clear legislative purpose. Does she actually believe in anything?

Yeah, it does kind of speak to a passion for spoiling things for everyone else.

Nader is a man I try not to think about. Too many Dec 2000 nightmares to push back.

And just a general contrariness for the sake of being contrary.

@emiliano4 - I’ll never forgive the motherfucker

Fun (but awkward) fact

My assumption is that she isn’t a Pelosi fan.

Well good god, woman! You should be in the forefront of the movement to get rid of the damn thing standing in the way of the legislation named for your “hero.”

ETA - ah. That is probably a sound assumption now that you mention it.

I was about to tag u regarding that Lewis tweet and my Pelosi remark.

Her vote was basically contrarian marzipan (it looked good, but she’s up against a top 5 Speaker).

Yeah and the Democrats in her home state and the rest of the Congressional Democrats with one exception. One.

She is pretty clearly an attention seeker as well.
