Arizona GOPer Compares Not Letting Legislature Throw Out Election Results To Lynching

Very true—I learned to cook well before I graduated from high school. With my mother, my aunts, and my grandmother as teachers, it would have been impossible not to learn how.
I still use a lot of their recipes, as well as some from my great-grandmother, who had stopped cooking when I knew her as a very old woman in her 90s.

Dear hubby looks at those commercials where you can buy meals and an oven to cook them in, by clicking a Q code, as a travesty.

That’s beside the point. They just love saying “lynch” and want to make it go, um, viral.

That Buscemi guy is one hell of a method actor.
A regular LegEnd in Hollywood!

Yes, he fits right in with the defining beliefs of his state and its peoples.
They see dopes like him as one of them.

Spewing anti-democracy bullshit laced with racist jackassery. How very on-brand for the modern GOP.

We bought some great number of those folks, of whom you speak, here in the first place, if you recall?

I see the problem, right there.

Nopers. Everyone eats. And being a good cook generally boosts your status. It confers so many benefits that people who refuse to learn even the most basic basics puzzle and frustrate me.

Somehow, I don’t think he’s only talking about this:

Because I doubt he could figure out how to use it.

What a great connection to family and your history! Those old recipes fill both body and soul. What a gift.

I hate the all-in-one grocery store, but Meijer has pretty good produce, including stuff I can’t find in the winter anywhere else.

I’d kill for a Wegman’s though. Doubt it would come here unless one of the other local chains closed.

At first blush, I thought that you meant “brought.”

Almost.

Well, the bill does require that all voting be in-person: no absentee voting at all, no voting-by-mail. It also bans the use of electronic equipment (with a narrow exception for the handicapped, I wonder how that snuck in there?) for vote recording and vote counting.

Oh, and all these ballots must be hand counted with 24 hours.

“a” D, or “the”, and you totally missed an opportunity for an A+.

I never got along too well with Cook’s Illustrated. I bought a few over the years and liked the illustration style, but the methodology turned me off. They’d assign one person to write up what sounds on the surface like a very science-based test of different ways to do some cooking project, and then pronounce one method the absolute best for that thing, whatever it was,.

Meanwhile, I knew from experience on some recipes or methods that there were other alternatives that would work, some of them better (IMO) or at least interesting variations. Anyway, that whole style of finding the “best” of whatever just turned me off. The art of good cooking doesn’t really work like that.

I keep hoping that Kroger will open a Harris-Teeter here now that they’ve bought the chain.

Our closest Wegman’s is in Raleigh NC—about a 6 hour drive.

Sounds unconstitutional.

More likely in their true fantasy life, cow poke is a verb.
